Institute, Awards, Applications, Conference…oh my!

We have been sending you emails, blogs…we have been Facebooking, Tweeting, LinkingIn…all because we don’t want YOU to miss out on some great opportunities coming up that, unfortunately, have deadlines.

Building Facade in FarmingtonWe have an amazing line up of presenters and panelists for next Friday’s (March 16) Downtown Institute – Green Design, Good Design: Historic Preservation and Smart Energy Solutions; followed by a lunch presentation by the Environmental Funders Network. Achievement Award nominations are due no later than March 30! We know our Main Street Maine and Downtown Network communities, as well as many other communities throughout Maine, have been working very hard and have many volunteers and projects deserving recognition. So don’t wait to nominate; click here.

Is your community ready to take the plunge into the Downtown Network? Did you know that this is the first step to becoming a Main Street Maine community? Application deadline is March 30. FMI click here.

Finally, we want you to hold May 18 on your calendars for the Downtown Conference. “Been there, done that” you say? Not this time! We have ramped up the level of the workshops; consider it Downtown 4.0! To help us with that, we have the Innovation Guru himself, Doug Hall – who is amazing at jump-starting ideas and motivating audiences to “do more” – as our featured speaker.
